How to terminate my rental agreement
There are two types of Rental agreements: FIXED TIME PERIOD and UNLIMITED TIME PERIOD. The one set to fixed time period cannot be terminated as it ends by expiration only. The second type with unlimited rental period may be terminated. In case you wish to terminate your Unlimited time period Rental agreement, always make sure to read its termination conditions. In general, if you have a 3 months termination policy it means following: exmpl. you terminate it in January, termination period starts to count typically from next month (February) and lasts until the end of April. Which means that the last possible day to deliver keys to your landlord/lady is last day of this month.
It is not a common procedure to use deposit or its part to cover last month rent. Although you can try to propose this to your landlord/lady and see whether you can reach such deal.

I’m terminating the Rental agreement as of date: XX.XX.XXXX (insert desired date).

DON'T FORGET: Rental agreement termination need to be delivered to landlord's hands either personally or via postal service in order to be official and valid. Text msg or FB message is not a valid or acceptable form!!!
