Our Story

We started as small project of a young Slovak couple who moved back to Martin from United States in 2008. As we had many friends from the foreign students community, we started to realize how many issues they are dealing with. In the beginning we were helping them on individual bases. As we were helping more and more students, they encouraged us to offer our help to all foreign students not only those we knew.
... and that's how DILIO started.

We focused on multi level support back in times when foreign students were facing many issues due to poor language skills of locals, lots of shady rental relationships and many cultural differences. We created apartment rental network with high standards of professionalism, opened students counseling office, organized events with local students organizations, opened first English driving school and many more... We're proud & happy that we could strongly influence creation of fair and safe environment for foreign students in Martin.
