MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS NEEDED FOR STARTING A COURSE: 5 students
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Age 18+
- No criminal record
- Presence in Slovakia at least 6 months from the beginning of your visas (granted temporary residence card).
- If you're first grader you can do your exams after first 6 months of your stay in Slovakia. Second and upper graders are fine with this requirement.

HOW IT WORKS?
- The maximum length of entire course is 4 months.
- A lesson is 45 min period.
- One theory session is block of 2 or 3 lessons.
- By law to get your Driving license in Slovakia you need to take all theoretical lessons and all practical lessons in the car.
- As new law regulations require students to attend all lessons, if student misses scheduled session (for any reason) it is required to setup a substitute session for additional cost 30€ or 20€ depending on session length.
- The same applies in case student fails to cancel scheduled practical driving lesson 1 day ahead.
- Teaching in English language is ensured by English translator.
- Final test for DILIO driving school students is available in ENGLISH language.

1. How long is medical check certificate valid?
One year from the date of issue.
2. How many retakes do I have?
Everybody has chance to apply for two retake exams within period six months from the date of your first exam, there's 8€ administration fee associated with each retake*.
3. What happens if I miss this six months period?
When a six months period for retake exams passes, you need to attend the entire driving course again.
4. How many days ahead do I need to notify my instructor to schedule my final examination?
At least 30 days ahead.
5. Is there English manual available?
Yes, only in electronic version.
6. How do I get my Transcript of police records (TPR)?
You need to go to your local police department and ask for it in place of your permanent residency (at home country).
8. In what language do I have to get my TPR?
Typically in English language. Once you get it, it need to be brought to your instructor. Then we'll organize appointment at the official translator's office and have it translated to Slovak language (20€ per page fee applies*).
